FRITO CHILI PIE

A Southern classic! While everyones’ names for this meal may differ, the flavor doesn’t. This is a very simple dish that is great for summer nights, camping, cold evenings, or dinners with children. It’s a favorite in our household!

Ingredients:
- 1 bag corn chips (we use Fritos)
- Chili (homemade or canned)
- 1/2 (white or yellow) onion, diced
- Shredded cheese of choice
- 1 jalapeno, diced (optional)
Recipe:
Place a few handfuls of corn chips into a bowl.
Top with hot chili. If using canned chili: scoop out of can onto chips and then microwave to warm. We use canned chili because I prefer chili with beans while my husband prefers chunky bean-less chili.
Top with desired toppings: shredded cheese, raw onion, jalapeno.
