Cranberry Brie Bites
Posted by Ashley Robustelli on
This recipe is great for a holiday appetizer (think Thanksgiving dinner or holiday parties)! It looks fancy, but is simple to make. You will really wow your guests with the aesthetic of this bite-size dish! I made this for the first time in 2019 for Thanksgiving, and now it's a staple that I will make every year for the occasion!
Ingredients:
- 1 tube Pillsbury crescent dough
- 8 oz wheel of regular brie
- 1/2 c whole cranberry sauce
- 1/4 c chopped pecans
- 6 sprigs fresh rosemary
- flour, for surface
Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and grease two muffin tins. On a floured surface, roll out the dough and pinch the seems together. You want to get rid of the pre-cut triangular shapes. Once that is accomplished, cut the dough into 24 squares (about 1 inch each). Please each dough square into the muffin tins, bending the corners up the sides. This will make a "cup" shape to hold the filling during baking. Top each piece of dough with toppings in this order: a small wedge of brie, a dollop of cranberry sauce, a pinch of chopped pecans, and a small piece of fresh rosemary. Bake these in the oven for 15 minutes. Let cool completely, then serve.
Pre-baked bites in the muffin tins.
Baked bites fresh out of the oven.
So simple and easy to make!
