Asian Beef Linguine

Posted by Ashley Robustelli on

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb linguine noodles
  • 3 Tbsp garlic, minced (6 cloves)
  • 4 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 6 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
  • diced green onions
  • sesame seeds, for garnish

Fill a pot with salted water and heat until boiling. Once boiling, add pasta and cook according to package directions. While waiting for the water to boil, heat a large pan and begin to brown the ground beef. Break up the meat, then add the ginger and garlic. Cook until meat is no longer brown. Drain grease. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, beef broth, hoisin, pepper, and red pepper flakes (optional, for spice) to form a sauce. Pour over beef and mix until combined. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the beef. Stir and allow pasta and beef to soak up the sauce. Top with green onion and sesame seeds. Serve!
